It looked like England had won their first game in EuroCup 2004 when all of a sudden out of nowhere…

France scores two goals back to back in the closing minutes!

Final score: France - 2 … England - 1

For someone who’s not an avid football fan it was quite an interesting game. Towards the end it started getting a little dirty and violent, which made the final score even more of an ordeal…

All I know is that I’m happy not to be in Lisbon right now. We all know how those British fans get…

It’s just that the police over there treat that as ‘normal behaviour’ so they and the press don’t make as big a deal about it.
