ok i didn’t properly look at the site before that last comment. If you look in the cities list they already have several countries from around the world. oops!
Ok but what if I wanted to add one for Birmingham, UK, and then someone wanted to do one for Birmingham, Alabama?!?
You’re avoiding the question. I know that it *can* get big; and “why not” doesn’t really hack it as an answer either (e.g., ” I want the Communist Party to win.” “Why?” “Why not” “Okay, Commrade”). Why do you want it to get big and why is it a great idea? (Honest questions / not heckling)

Why?
Why what?
Metblog is a good concept… there should be an EU/UK version!… like
bath.uk.metblogs.com
or just a metblogs.co.uk equivalent of the .com?
aren’t there also european cities on there?

Hadn’t thought about that. When it becomes big enough that there are multiple cities with the same name, I’m sure they’ll separate it by region.
If you can find 10+ people willing to blog for Birmingham, you could definitely set one up…
Why do we hope this gets big?
Why not? I don’t see anything holding it back from becoming big. It’s a great idea, and with the right amount of work and dedication it can happen.
