Last year, “Birthday 2004 - The Story Continues” was the first post to my weblog. It was also marked the tradition of taking photos during every memorable moment throughout the year.
The Birthday 2004 photo album contains 69 photos, and at the time of this post has been viewed no less than 1069 times. How do you beat that in 2005?
You don’t.
Last Saturday (February 26), the regulars once again went to Red Star to celebrate our birthdays. Pierre had already celebrated his birthday last week, but due to my illness I couldn’t attend. As a result, Lisa and I decided to celebrate our birthdays this week instead.
The problem was, I guess I was too caught up in the moment because I took no pictures. Okay - I took two or three in the beginning of the night, but that’s about it. I may decide to post those later, but I doubt it would be worth an entire photo album for a couple of photos that aren’t even representative of the entire night.
Even without photos it made for a very interesting, if not animated, night. I guess there was no real way to top off last year anyway, so why try?
