I’ve had an infatuation with crackers. So far, I have two packages at school and one at home…

I’ve been missing in action for a while, but at least I have a worthy update this time. It’s been almost a month and a half since my birthday, and ordinarily you would expect photos in the gallery within days.
However, I had much more elaborate plans for this birthday; this year is especially important seeing as how it marks a quarter century. I dreamed up the idea of having this website with all the photos and maybe some narrative. I eventually gave up on the narrative part, as I think the photos tell the story just fine (don’t they always?).
So here it is: twentyoneplusfour.com.
It’s plain, but has got a bit of lightbox goodness sprinkled in with some other AJAX. Unfortunately, I never learned AJAX, so I had to rely on existing libraries. Also, if there’s already an existing solution, why go to the trouble of making your own?
I’ve come to the conclusion that WordPress hates me.
This is the third time I’ve written this post. Each iteration has become considerably shorter. This one will be less than 100 words.
I followed Gareth’s lead and have removed the www from my links.

Almost three years ago, I switched from my first hosting company to Dathorn. At the time, Dathorn offered superior pricing and the ability to host multiple domains.
Since then, there has been a surge in the number of hosting plans with excellent feature sets. It was a difficult decision, but I have now moved to Dream Host. If you’re seeing this message, that means that you are now viewing the new site.
This also means that you’ve noticed the layout change. Unfortunately, as a result of upgrading WordPress, I can no longer use my old design without heavy modification. Consequently, I will be using this template as a temporary design. The new features in WordPress 2.1 are impressive, and I believe it’s worth sacrificing the blog’s design for a while until I sort everything out.
Also, other sites have made the switch as well.
